Elevation Profile
Turning this tool on provides the ability to draw a line and view the elevation contour along that line. When this tool is activated (and turned orange), click and drag on the map to create a free-form line, or click on just the start and the end for a straight line or line segment. Double-click to finish the line. Using this tool will automatically open the Elevation Profile Tab in the Tools frame on the left.

The results from this tool appear like this in the Elevation Profile tool tab:

Click on the map tool icon again to deactivate (it will turn white when deactivated).
