Layers
The Layers button provides access to a list of present layers that can be turned on/off. A layer can be turned on and off at any time, but it might not always be visible depending on the zoom level. Invisible layers are grayed out but will change when the appropriate zoom level is reached. Turn each layer of by hitting the visibility icon (the eye) to the left of each layer. Also, entire groups of layers can be turned toggled on/off (for example, the Base Map layer is actually a group of layers), all of which can be activated/deactivated by hitting the Base Map layer's eye.

To close the tool, click on the collapse button that the Layers icon turned into upon activating: .png)
