Query Results Table Tools

The records that match the selection criteria will automatically appear in the results panel scrolling in from the right. The number of records found will be listed at the top of the panel. Each feature selected on the map will have a corresponding record in the Data Results table. Scroll down through the records using the side scroll bar to the right. Scroll laterally through the fields if the table has a lot of information. The Parcel data layer is a perfect example of this. The table of results has the ability to query for a specific field (very useful for large tables with many fields). The scroll bar in this case is at the bottom of the record frame.

Within the table, find these symbols created to give more information about searched features:

Zoom  – Click the Zoom icon for any record to zoom to the extent of that feature.

Buffer – Click the Buffer icon to select parcels within the buffer area (listed next to each record in the data results panel.) NOTE: this function will create a new set of selected features that fall within the specified buffer. Change the buffer settings (distance, units and target) as necessary in the frame below the results table (see below).

Image Mate Online - Click the Image Mate Online (IMO) icon to view the tax parcel record on the IMO website. IMO is a website that serves as a central location for tax parcel records and maps for New York are stored and accessed.
